In 1980, Lorcan gave me a copy of an album entitled "Comin' at ya!" by a bunch of old black men called The Persuasions. He just said somthing like " You'll like these, they are your kind of thing. He was right of course and my life long love affair with Acapella music was born. On Lorcan's 50th birthday, I returned the favour by giving him a copy of the same album he gave me, this time in CD form rather than vinyl.He never did say thanks.
